Women's Basketball Players
PALOMAR COLLEGE 2002-03 (Sophomore): Averaged 9.4 ppg (fourth on the team) and 7.0 rpg (second on the team) en route to All-Pacific Coast Conference honors Palomar finished atop the PCC with an 8-2 league mark (15-13 overall) ranked first on the team in steals with 46 and third on the team in assists with 53 her 23 blocked shots led the Comets she shot just under 46 percent from the field and .536 from the free throw line. 2001-02 (Freshman): Palomar finished third in the PCC with a 15-16 record and a 5-5 mark in conference play averaged 11.8 ppg, shot .448 from the floor and ranked in the top 50 in the state with 8.1 rpg also averaged 2.1 bpg (61 blocks in 31 games) which ranked eighth in the state. VISTA HIGH SCHOOL Four-year varsity player for the Panthers, earning first-team All-Palomar League honors as a sophomore and senior, second-team honors as a junior, and honorable mention as a freshman averaged better than 12 ppg all four seasons, including double-doubles as a sophomore and junior also threw the shot put for the track & field team as a senior, posting a best of 34-10.5 earned All-CIF honors in track as a junior and senior. PERSONAL Born on May 19, 1983 in Oceanside, Calif. parents are Angela and Wayne has two brothers, Alphonso (18) and Joshua (16) nickname is Boo hopes to become an athletic trainer and a coach intends to major in kinesiology selected Fullerton over Jamestown College in North Dakota, San Diego, Cal State Monterrey Bay and Cal State San Bernardino because it was closer to home and the coaches were really nice.
