Box Score

Long Beach State women's basketball (10-12, 6-7 Big West) held Cal State Fullerton (6-15, 6-6 Big West) to just 12 first-half points and cruised to a 74-43 victory on Saturday evening.

The win snapped a two-game slide by The Beach.

"We decided to put forth our best defensive unit in the starting lineup," said a relieved Head Coach Mary Hegarty. "I was pleased with the start we had and we were able to take good shots on the other end."

Jayme Connors led the 49ers with 14 points and eight rebounds, while Candice Wilson added 12 points. Connors went 7-of-9 from the field. Lauren Bull added 11 points. LBSU shot 49% from the field. The Beach outrebounded the Titans 44 to 30
