Box Score UC Irvines Christina Callaway notched a game-high 21 points while Kristen Green added 15 points to help lead the visiting Anteaters to a, 74-59, victory over Cal State Fullerton in a Big West Conference womens basketball match-up on Saturday night at the Titan Gym. After a quick 7-0 run by UCI, Cal State Fullerton responded with an 8-1 run of its own to draw even at 23-23. However, that would be as close as the Titans would come the rest of the way as a 12-0 run by the Anteaters upped their advantage to 35-23 before the half, and they led by as many as 21 points late in the game en route to the win. Cal State Fullerton hit on 41 percent of its shots for the contest from the floor. UCI held a 23-10 advantage in free throws attempted, but the Titans won the battle of the boards, 37-32. Cal State Fullerton returns to action on Thursday (Feb. 13) as the Titans travel up the road to meet Long Beach State for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off at The Pyramid. ####
