CAL STATE FULLERTON 2003: One of only two players (Melanie Meister) to play in 100 games on the year, appearing in a team-best 102 • averaged 2.01 kpg and ranked second with 205 kills • served 22 aces on the year, ranking third on the squad • averaged 1.01 dpg • ranked second on the the team with 89 totals blocks and averaged 0.87 bpg • set a career high with 16 kills in a win at UC Riverside on Nov. 1 • hit a season-best .611 against East Tennessee State • had five service aces in a loss at Utah State on Oct. 16 while also adding a career-best 15 digs • had a career-best nine total blocks also against the Aggies. 2002: Appeared in 28 matches, averaging 1.62 kills, 0.32 digs and 0.44 blocks per game • Her .122 attack percentage was fourth on the team • Had a season-high nine kills on three occasions: Aug. 31 vs. Fordham, Sept. 2 vs. Long Island and Oct. 12 at Utah State. HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner at Valley View H.S. in Moreno Valley, Calif. • Named to the Valley View all-tournament team her junior and senior seasons, while also earning first-team all-league honors as a junior • Selected as her team’s Most Improved Player as a sophomore • Member of the honor roll.
