Player Bios
CAL STATE FULLERTON 2003: A force on both sides of the ball, Dixon ranked fourth on the team with 1.69 kpg and third on the team with 0.88 bpg • ranked second on the squad in block solos (10), and third in total blocks (71) and block assists (61) • ranked second on the team with 23 service aces, averaging a team-high 0.28 aces per game • had a season-high 10 kills against Lamar on Sept. 5 • hit a season-best .533 twice against Nevada and San Diego State • had four aces against the Wolfpack on Aug. 30 en route to All-Tournament honors at the Cal State Fullerton Four Points Classic • notched seven total blocks twice against Lamar and Pacific, including three block solos against the Tigers. 2002: Appeared in 27 matches for the Titans as a freshman, averaging 1.26 kills per game while posting a .115 attack percentage • Was second on the Titans with 40 blocks (and first with eight solo blocks) • Had a career-high 14 kills (and a .387 attack percentage) in a near-win over Pacific on Oct. 26 and had 10 kills in a season-finale win over UC Riverside • Had four blocks on five occasions. HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-time All-Valle Vista League selection at San Dimas H.S. • Also earned three all-tournament bids in her career • Was a scholar-athlete throughout her four years and earned Blue Star awards for having a GPA above 3.5. PERSONAL: Born on Feb. 6, 1984, in West Covina, Calif. • Parents are Craig and Linda Dixon • Has five siblings: Robert, Sandy, Beth, David and Kristie • Majoring in child and adolescent studies • Played two years for Top Gun Volleyball Club in Pomona • Favorite movie is A Walk to Remember and favorite TV show is Friends • Likes Italian food, especially lasagna • Plays the flute.
