Kelly Wing had 29 kills, 10 digs and nine blocks to lead UC Irvine to
a four-game win (30-17, 33-31, 21-30, 30-25) over Cal State Fullerton
in the Big West Conference volleyball opener at Titan Gym Friday night.
The Anteaters improved to a Big West-best 10-3 overall and are 1-0 in
conference play. The Titans dropped to 6-6 overall and 0-1 in Big West
play.
Terbrie Taylor had 16 kills for the Anteaters, who out-blocked Fullerton,
20-6. Fullerton was led by Sarah Morrison and Lauren Goins, who each had
14 kills and 14 digs.
The Titans host Long Beach State Saturday nigh while the Anteaters visit
UC Riverside.
