Lauren Goins had 17 kills and 16 digs and Sarah Morrison added 14 kills
and 13 digs, but the host Titans lost to Valparaiso, 30-24, 23-30, 31-29,
30-24, in the nightcap of the first day of the Four Points Titan Volleyball
Classic in Fullerton.
Fullerton (1-1) was a point away from taking a two games to one lead over
the Crusaders, but Valpo rallied for the win and backed it up with a victory
in game four. The Crusaders were led by Michelle Robinson, who had 19
kills.
Earlier in the day, Fullerton beat Fordham, 30-20, 30-28, 30-24, behind
Goins' 10 kills and Morrison's 15 digs.
