HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner at Muncie Central H.S.
in Muncie, Ind. Helped her team to state championships as a freshman
and sophomore and to a second-place showing her junior season Gained
all-conference and all-state recognition as a junior and again as a senior,
when she was also named the MVP at the Mishawaka Invitational As
a senior, she tallied 67 kills (.456 attack percentage), 745 assists, 25
service aces and 93 digs in 66 games Also a two-year letterwinner
in track An honor roll member and student council treasurer, Shondell
also earned Outstanding Achievement Awards in mass media (directing) and
physical education.
PERSONAL: Born on Oct. 25, 1983 in Muncie, Ind. Parents are
David and Angela Shondell Has three siblings: Karli (19), Ashlee
(15) and Kyle (12) Majoring in communications Played 12 years
with the perennially strong Munciana Volleyball Club Says she chose
to attend Fullerton because the people were very genuine, the weather
was great and everything seemed to be just what I wanted Also
considered attending George Washington, Connecticut and Southern Illinois
Would like to see a midwest school added to the Titans schedule

to kids is to be yourself, stand up for what you believe in and listen
