Stage Late Rally to Prevent Titan History Oct. 26 , 2002 – Fullerton, Calif. Box Score Jennifer Joines had 30 kills, 11 digs and six blocks to pace Pacific to a five-game win over Cal State Fullerton in a Big West Conference volleyball match in Titan Gym Saturday night. The Tigers improved to 13-8 overall and 8-3 in Big West play with the 30-26, 23-30, 30-23, 25-30, 16-14 win. Fullerton lost its 18th consecutive match to fall to 4-20 overall and 0-11 in conference. Fullerton, which is 0-37 all-time against Pacific, had a golden chance to pick up its first win over the Tigers. The Titans led, 13-8, in the fifth game before Pacific rallied for the16-14 win. Joanna Rentz added 15 kills and 19 digs for the Tigers and Hayley Anderson had 60 assists and 15 digs. Five Fullerton players reached double figures in kills with Lauren Goins leading the way with 18. Krista Bebernes had a team-high 19 digs and Kim Levey had 65 assists. Fullerton will play at Long Beach State and UC Irvine next weekend.
