Drop Tournament Opener to Toledo Sept. 13 , 2002 – Portland, Ore. Box Score Lauren Goins posted her seventh double-double of the season, but the Cal State Fullerton women's volleyball team was swept by Toledo in the opener of the Nike Portland Inviational Friday night. Toledo, which improved to 7-0 on the season, notched two-point wins in each of the games, scoring a 35-33, 30-28, 31-29 win over the Titans (4-5), who fell below .500 for the first time since dropping the season opener to Tennessee. Goins had 10 kills and 11 digs and Renee Vignery had 10 digs for the Titans. Kim Levey had 24 assists. Fullerton will battled UCLA and the host Pilots in tournament action on Saturday.
