Levey and Goins Earn All-Conference Honors
Nov. 25 , 2002 – Fullerton, Calif.

Cal State Fullerton volleyball players Lauren Goins and Kim Levey have been named honorable-mention All-Big West Conference, the Irvine-based conference office announced today.

Goins, a sophomore outside hitter from La Habra, Calif., had a breakout campaign for the Titans. She paced Fullerton in both kills per game (3.94) and digs per game (2.98) and was also first with 34 service aces. Goins was named to the all-tournament teams at each of the Titans' three tournaments.

Levey was a four-year starter at setter for the Titans and shattered the career assists record. She finished with 3,621, nearly 300 more than Stephanie Shrieve had from 1994-97. This season alone, Levey had 1,008 assists (9.79 per game) and avearged 2.91 digs per game. Like Goins, Levey earned all-tournament honors three times this season.
