2000: Had one of the most prolific seasons in Titan history, becoming the first Titan to record 400 kills and 400 digs in the same season • Her 4.04 kills per game were ninth most in the Big West Conference and her 3.82 digs per game were second most • Had the third most digs (405) in a season by any Titan • Climbed to third on the Titans’ career kills list and reached second on the digs chart with 919 • Recorded double-doubles in 18 of the Titans’ 29 matches • Had 20 or more kills nine times, including a career-high 35 (third most in a match in Fullerton history) in a five-game marathon vs. Texas Christian on Sept. 16 • Had 20 or more digs seven times, including 27 vs. Cal State Northridge on Oct. 10.

1999: Developed into a legitimate star after backing up her solid freshman campaign with an even better sophomore season • Was eighth in the conference in kills per game (3.87) • Also tallied 325 digs (3.16 per game) and 28 blocks (0.27 per game) • Finished the season with 641 career kills, leaving her within striking distance of Fullerton’s top five career kills leaders • Reached double figures in kills in 24 of 29 matches, including 22 of the final 23 • Tallied 20 or more kills five times, including a season-high 27 against Penn on Sept. 18 • Had 50 digs on one day (24 against San Francisco, 26 against Penn) at the San Francisco Tournament.

1998: Only starter returning from the 1998 squad, Sabo hit for a .187 efficiency while amassing 242 kills in 86 games played (2.81 average) • A solid back-row player, she collected 189 digs during the year for a 2.20 average • Her 32 kills in the match vs. Harvard was the third-best performance in the Big West in 1998 and ranks her 10th on the Titans’ single-match all-time record list.

High School: Played for two years on the Monarch volleyball team, earning first-team All-CIF honors in 1997 • Was first-team all-league in her sophomore and senior seasons • Was named to all-tournament teams at the Durango Classic in Las Vegas, Nev., and at the Archbishop Mitty tournament • Also played softball in her freshman and sophomore years at Canyon High School • Competed for the Saddleback Valley Volleyball Club.

Personal: Born March 23, 1980, in Fullerton • Parents are Robert and Jean Sabo... has a sister, Juliana • Majoring in business • Chose Fullerton because of its business school and the volleyball program • Also considered Cal Poly Pomona, St. Mary’s and UNLV • Enjoys all music • Her favorite movie is Good Will Hunting and her favorite television show is Friends • Cites Gabrielle Reece as her favorite athlete • Lists exercising and spending time with family and friends as her hobbies • Her favorite food is either Mexican food or barbequed chicken pizza.
