NESTOR RODRIGUEZ
Assistant Coach
Fourth Season
Nestor Rodriguez, in his fourth year as an assistant coach for the Titans, was named a full-time assistant in July of 2000.

Formerly an assistant coach at his alma mater, Pioneer Baptist High School, Rodriguez also has served as head coach at Rolling Hills Prep High School for two years.

He was named Express League Coach of the Year in 1995 after guiding the school to the CIF playoffs for the first time.

Before joining the Titan staff, Rodriguez also guided the Windward High School girls’ team to a league championship and CIF semifinal appearance.

Also an accomplished club coach, Rodriguez has guided his X-cel Volleyball 18-1 club team to an 11th place finish at the Davis Festival. X-cel also placed fifth at the 1999 Regional championship. Prior to that, his South Bay 16-1 team took the championship of the Bayview Classic in Berkeley in the spring of 1998.

A former professional cyclist, Rodriguez raced for both the Excel and Tulsa Cyclones. He is pursuing his degree at Fullerton.

Nestor and his wife, Darla, have two sons, Shea and Chase.
