on the season (Sept. 8 vs. Northern Iowa, Sept. 9 vs. UC Riverside and Sept.
9 vs. Fresno State) • Played especially well at the Fresno State Tournament
on Sept. 8-9, averaging 3.86 kills and 4.0 digs per game game against some
of the Titans’ toughest competition (Northern Iowa, Washington State,
UC Riverside and Fresno State).
High School: Graduated from Granite Hills in El Cajon, where she
racked up a slew of honors • Was a three-time team MVP and two-time
first-team all-league selection • Named 1999 Grossmont South Player
of the Year and also picked first-team all-East County her junior and senior
years • Tabbed to the San Diego Union-Tribune’s Power Bar team
her senior season and was a first-team all-academic choice two years •
Played for Club Pacific under Coach John Ross • Also lettered once
in softball.
Personal: Born on May 19, 1982 • Has three siblings (Nicole,
12; Kristin, 10; and Gage, 10) • Chose Fullerton because of its coaching
staff • Favorite movie is The Green Mile • Admires Tony Gwynn
