Utah State's women's volleyball team ended its season-high three-match losing streak tonight by sweeping Cal State Fullerton by final scores of 30-18, 30-24, and 30-24 at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.  With the win, USU improves to 12-7 on the season and 8-3 in the Big West Conference.  Cal State Fullerton falls to 8-14
overall and 4-10 in league play with the loss.
       
Utah State had controll most of the match, building significant leads early on in each of the first two matches.  Cal State Fullerton opened the third game with a little momentum and had a brief lead at 12-10 before the Aggies went on a 9-0 run to reclaim the lead and go on to the sweep.

Individually for Utah State, sophomore middle blocker Erin Cartwright (Wellsville, Utah) had a team-high 11 kills to go along with four digs and three blocks, while juniors Shauni Fluckiger (Providence, Utah) and Hailey MacKay (Bountiful, Utah) each added 10 kills.  Senior middle blocker Michelle Matheson (Moreno Valley, Utah) hit a team-high .500 (8-0-16) to go along with seven digs.
       
As a team, Utah State hit .261 in the match and held Cal State Fullerton to a .052 hitting percentage.  USU also notched 12 more digs and 2.5 more blocks in the match.

The Titans will visit Idaho on Saturday night.
