No. 7 Pacific Sweeps Titans in Big West Volleyball

Jennifer Joines had 21 kills, including 10 in the first game, as seventh-ranked Pacific cruised to a 30-14, 30-20, 30-21 sweep of Cal State Fullerton in a Big West Conference volleyball match Friday night at Fullerton.

The Tigers improved to 9-2 overall and 1-0 in conference action while the Titans fell to 3-5 and 0-2. Fullerton is 0-35 all-time against Pacific and has lost 27 consecutive games.

Jamie Hamm had nine kills in just 15 attempts for the Tigers and added 18 digs while Megan Hauschild had 38 assists. The Titans were led by Roxanne Barlow, who had a team-high eight kills, and Kim Levey, who had 12 digs and 24 assists.

Fullerton will not play again until next Friday, when the Titans visit UC Irvine. Pacific takes on UC Riverside Saturday night.
