CAL STATE FULLERTON 2003-04 (JUNIOR): Tied for third on the team with 13 singles victories, posting a 13-8 overall and dual match record... played all but two matches at No. 4 singles, winning seven straight matches at one point and 10 of 12... was 11-8 in doubles play, going 9-5 with teammate Mai-Ly Tran... the duo went 8-5 at No. 2 doubles... was also 3-2 at No. 2 doubles with Ruya Inalpulat. 2002-03 (SOPHOMORE): Posted a 3-7 mark in singles play, 2-5 in dual matches... played six matches at No. 2 singles and one match at No. 3 singles... reached the second round of the Cal State Fullerton Fall Intercollegiates... played with four different partners in doubles action, posting a 1-1 record with Adriana Hockicko, 2-2 with Ruya Inapulat, 3-1 with Nicole LaBrucherie, and 1-1 with Brittany Minna. 2001-02 (FRESHMAN): Amassed a 10-16 overall record while moving between the No. 1, 2 and 3 spots in singles... posted straight set shutouts twice, in matches against Santa Clara on February 9 and Chapman on February 13... had a three-match winning streak from February 13 through March 1... went 9-5 with doubles partner Ana Iacob as the No. 1 doubles team... appeared in six matches with Myra Mariscal (0-6), three matches with Caroline Freeman (0-3) and one match with Michelle Arndt (0-1). HIGH SCHOOL Attended Claremont High School… league champion and all-league MVP her freshman and sophomore seasons… league MVP and CIF champion her junior season… league MVP her senior season. PERSONAL Born on September 30, 1983… parents are Sandra and Roger Rocha… has a younger sister, Sandra… most prized possession is her CIF Championship trophy… best advice to give to kids is “listen to your parents.”
