Tennis Players
CAL STATE FULLERTON JUNIOR (2003-04): Played at both No. 5 and No. 6 singles, going 2-2... posted victories over Chapman College's Samantha Galasso and Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Kristen Bauknicht... Played with two doubles partners, but had the most success with teammate Gina Le, going 13-6 at No. 3 doubles... the 13 doubles wins were the most of any Titan player... Arias/Le went 7-4 against regional opponents and was the only duo with a winning Big West record (4-2). EL CAMINO COLLEGE Finished the 2003 season ranked 25th in the state, helping her team to a No. 3 ranking in the final polls... she and her teammate were also ranked at the No. 16 doubles team in the state... reached the second round of singles play in the 2003 California Community Colleges Commission on Athletics Southern Regional Championships... earned a No. 8 seed in the regional doubles championships and advanced to the state tournament where they fell in the first round. HIGH SCHOOL Played four years of varsity tennis for South Torrance HS PERSONAL Born on Aug. 9, 1982... plans to major in kinesiology at Cal State Fullerton... has a brother, Vince.
