Bill Reynolds brings more than twenty years of teaching and coaching experience
to Cal State Fullerton. After playing in the junior ranks of the SCTA, the
USTA, and Santa Barbara HS, Reynolds graduated from UC Santa Barbara where
he played for the Gauchos in 1973 & 1974. After competing in several
Professional tournaments, he returned to UCSB for graduate school and the
beginning of his coaching career.
Reynolds served as Head Pro/Tennis Director at the Manhattan Beach Country
Club, and as Assistant Pro at the Jack Kramer Club. He has directed junior
tours to Australia and was a coach with several junior tours to Germany.
Along with his duties as head coach at CSF, Reynolds also serves as an Area
Training Coach (Orange County) for the USTA Player Development Program and
is a coach for the USTA Zonal Team Championships. He is on the Professional
Advisory Staff for Wilson Sporting Goods and also serves on the ITA/NCAA
West Region Ranking Committee.
