Four-year letterwinner as a pitcher and third baseman • two time first-team Louisville Slugger/NFCA high school All-American in 2000-01 • led the Knights to two mythical USA Today National Championships in 1999 and 2001 • Cal-Hi Sports “Ms. Softball” State Player of the Year and Central Valley Player of the Year in 2001 • four-time All-CIF Central Section first-team, All-North Yosemite League first-team, and All-Fresno County first-team honoree • three-time all-state selection • twice named the NYL’s Player of the Year • two-time league Most Outstanding Pitcher • named team MVP three times • CIF Central Section and California High School Player of the Year (2001) • Posted a 25-1 record with a 0.07 ERA in 2000 to go with 389 strikeouts in 204 innings • tossed 22 shutouts, 12 no-hitters and seven perfect games • hit .388 with 23 RBI that season for former Cal State Fullerton assistant Erika Blanco • set Central section records for most strikeouts in a game (40), most single-season shutouts (22) and most no-hitters (12) • did not allow an earned run as a senior while setting section single-season records for no-hitters (12), shutouts (23), fewest walks (6), strikeouts per inning (2.02) and most consecutive no-hitters (4) • set and tied the national record for most perfect games in a season with seven in 2000 and again in 2001 • set national record with most career pefect games (20) • set CIF section career records for no hitters (33), consecutive perfect games (3), shutouts (72), wins (86), strikeouts (1,085), win-loss percentage (.955), lowest ERA (0.13), and fewest hits allowed per game (0.95).
