Schweikert Resigns As CSF Assistant
Juen 1, 2005 – Fullerton, Calif.

Terry Schweikert, an assistant softball coach the past four years at Cal State Fullerton, has resigned her post in order to become the Co-Head Coach with the New York/New Jersey Juggernaut of National Pro Fastpitch.

Schweikert was hired in July, 2001, and helped the Titans win two Big West Conference championships (2002 and 2003) and make three trips to the NCAA playoffs (2002, 2003 & 2005) while compiling an overall record of 142-83. The Titans’ staff won a pair (2002 & 2003) of Speedline/NFCA West Region Coaching Staff of the Year awards.

"Terry was a major part of our success these past four years," said Head Coach Michelle Gromacki. "We wish her the best in the future."

While back East, Schweikert will also work in camps under the direction of former Baltimore Orioles’ great, Cal Ripken, Jr. Prior to her four seasons with the Titans, Schweikert was an assistant coach at Nebraska for three seasons from 1999-2001 and at her alma mater, Missouri, from 1997-99.
