CAL STATE FULLERTON
2003 (JUNIOR):
Hit .222 in 47 games for the Titans, making 43 starts • finished with 11 runs scored and a pair of doubles to go with four RBI • led the team with five steals in seven attempts • had hits in her first three games to kick off the season (4-for-7) • had a season-high two hits on four different occasions.

2002 (SOPHOMORE): After a stellar freshman year, Watson, hit just .214 in 57 games for the Titans • scored 19 runs on the season to go with six RBI • swiped three bases to rank in a tie for third on the team and ranked tied for first on the team with seven sacrifice hits • had hits in five of her first seven contests, including a 2-for-3 effort against Florida International • went 3-for-3 with a run and an RBI in a win over Sacramento State (3/9) • ranked eighth on the team with five multi-hit games and tied for seventh with four two-hit games • had a season-best three-game hitting streak where she hit .400 (4-for-10) with a run scored.

2001 (FRESHMAN): Quickly emerged as the Titans’ best leadoff threat with tremendous speed, starting 57 of Fullerton's 62 games as the centerfielder • hit .285 on the season with 35 runs scored (second on the team), three doubles, and three triples • walked 20 times and tied for second on the team with six stolen bases • had a hit in all but 19 games, and went a career-best 3-for-4 in a game at Cal State Northridge to help clinch the program's 1,000th victory • scored a career best three runs in a 16-0 victory over Centenary • had her first career hit against Kansas (2/2) in the second game of the season • reached base in 39-of-96 (.453) opportunities as the leadoff hitter in an inning • has also been successful at moving the runners up in her at bats, advancing 42 runners in 72 tries (.568) • tied for fourth on the team with six sacrifices.

SAUGUS HS
Played four years of varsity for head coach Ron Hilton • also played volleyball • named to the first-team All-Foothill League and All-Santa Clarita Valley four times (1997-00) • earned first-team All-CIF in 1999 • named to the Los Angeles Times All-County First-Team in 1999 and 2000 • earned second-team All-County honors from the Los Angeles Times in 1997 and 1998 • earned second-team honors from the Daily News in 1997-99 while grabbing first-team honors in 2000 • earned numerous team awards, including MVP (1999-2000), Best Offensive Player (1998), Best Catcher, and Most Improved (1997) • helped lead the Centurions to the Foothill League crown and a trip to the CIF semifinals during her freshman season • won the scholar-athlete award all four years • played on the Southern California A's 18-and-under Gold team for two seasons and won nationals in 1999 • earned first-team ASA All-American honors in 1999.

PERSONAL
Born September 4, 1982, in Mission Hills • full name is Julie Karen Watson • she is a child development major at Cal State Fullerton and plans on becoming an elementary school teacher after graduation • lists playing softball and hanging out with her friends as her hobbies • nicknames are "Jules" • chose Cal State Fullerton over UNLV and Sacramento State because of the coaches and the location.
