SOFTBALL PLAYERS
ANTELOPE VALLEY COLLEGE 2003 (SOPHOMORE): First-team All-Foothill Conference outfielder hit .282 with 28 runs scored and 12 RBI also stole 10 bases ranked 13th in the conference in hits (40), eighth in runs, and tied for 22nd in RBI also ranked seventh in stolen bases and was tied for 11th in the conference as one of the toughest players to strikeout (eight strikeouts in 142 at-bats). 2002 (FRESHMAN): Second-team All-Foothill Conference honoree hit .267 for the Marauders (while playing the majority of the schedule wearing a cast on her wrist) with 33 runs scored and 13 RBI stole 16 bases hit .286 in conference play and amassed a .428 on-base percentage overall. QUARTZ HILL HS Played three seasons of varsity softball for the Rebels, earning second-team All-Golden League honors as a senior twice voted Most Inspirational as a junior and senior. PERSONAL Born June 6, 1983, in Salt Lake City, Utah parents are Kevin and Susan Tantlinger and Jim Platts has two younger sisters, Lauren and Shelby her father, Kevin, played for the U.S. Mens National Fastpitch Team also considered Cal Poly and Arizona State chose Cal State Fullerton because of the coaching staff, location and the team.
