VACAVILLE HS Played four years of varsity softball, all as a middle infielder • hit better than .350 all four seasons for the Bulldogs • a four-time All-Monticello Empire League honoree • earned the team’s Most Outstanding Offensive Player award as a sophomore, hitting .400 on the year • named team captain her final two seasons • League Player of the Year as a senior and earned the Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year award • team was CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Champions in 2003 • named to the CIF academic honor roll her freshman-junior seasons. PERSONAL Born March 13, 1985, in Vallejo, Calif. • parents are Mark and Eva • has a younger brother, Zachary • intends to major in kinesiology with hopes of coaching Division I softball and head into the sports medicine field • also considered UCLA, Cal Poly, Arizona State, UC Davis, Cal State Northridge, and Saint Mary’s • selected Cal State Fullerton because of the coaching staff, the university, the location and the softball program.
