GAME 1

Portland State 8, UC Santa Barbara 1

GAME NOTES:
PSU finally broke through with six runs in the fourth, as Annie Peccia broke the scoreless with a run-scoring triple... Alayna Peterson followed with a perfectly executed squeeze bunt, scoring Peccia for the 2-0 lead... Pinch hitter Tiffany McHenry and Maggie DeWall added an RBI singles later in the inning and Kayla Lewis completed the scoring with a two-run single to center for the 6-0 lead... The Vikings added two more in the sixth on a pair of errors and an RBI single by Annie Peccia... Leslie Simien accounted for the Gauchos' only run, reaching on a single, stealing second, moving to third on a ground ball and scoring on an error.

GAME 2
(#25) Oregon State 1, (RV) Oklahoma State 0

GAME NOTES:
Brianne McGowan's solo home run to left in the fifth inning proved to be the only run to cross the plate as Oregon State held off Oklahoma State, 1-0... Monica Hoffman (ORST) threw five innings of no-hit softball, walking three and striking out eight... McGowan entered in the sixth, tossing the final two innings, scattering one hit, a single by Megan Carey, and striking out four... Four different Beavers had hits.

(#4) California 3, Cal State Northridge 1

GAME NOTES:
California's Kristina Thorson entered in the seventh and retired the final three batters of the inning, stranding the tying run at second base, to save the Golden Bears' 3-1 victory over Cal State Northridge... Vicky Galindo scored on an error and Kaleo Eldridge smacked a two-run home run to key a three-run third... Cal State Northridge scored on an error in the fifth for its only run... The Matadors put the first two runners on in the seventh, but Thorson struck out two of the final three batters to end the game and earn her second save.

GAME 4
(#10) Stanford 4, Portland State 0

GAME NOTES:
Stanford's Laura Severson tossed a complete-game two-hitter while the Cardinal's Catalina Morris went 1-for-3 with a pair of RBI to lift Stanford to the win... Maggie DeWall and Kayla Lewis each had hits for Portland State... Morris gave the Cardinal the 2-0 lead with her two run single in the third... Stanford scored twice in the sixth on an RBI single by Jessica Allister and a sacrifice fly by Leah Nelson.

GAME 5
(#4) California 6, (RV) Michigan State 2

L: Jessica Beech (7-3)

GAME NOTES:
California scored four times in the second inning on a grand slam by Vicky Galindo and the Golden Bears rode the arm of Thorson, who allowed two runs on six hits while striking out seven... Galindo finished 4-for-4... Kaleo Eldridge and Haley Woods also had RBIs for Cal... Beech was 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Spartans while Victoria Morache was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

GAME 6
(#10) Stanford 4, UC Santa Barbara 0

W: Dana Sorensen (9-3)

GAME NOTES:
Stanford's Meghan Sickler was 2-for-2 with two RBI while Lauren Lappin was 3-for-3 at the plate with three runs scored to lead the Cardinal to the shutout of the Gauchos... Sorensen allowed just four UCSB hits and struck out seven in the shutout... Four different Gauchos tallied base hits on the day... Sickler got the Cardinal on the board with an RBI single in the second... Jessica Allister added a run-scoring single in the fourth and capped the scoring on an RBI double by Lappin and an RBI single by Sickler.

GAME 7
(RV) Cal State Fullerton 4, (RV) Oklahoma State 1

GAME NOTES:
Brooke Weekley tossed a four hitter with six strikeouts to lead the Titans to the victory... Jody Campbell and Jennifer Holt each had run-scoring doubles while junior Lindsey Bashor added her fourth home run of the season in the first... Fullerton scored a run in each of the first three innings... Four different Cowgirls (Totte, Lindly, Behmer, Tweed) had hits while Courtney Totte added an RBI single in the fifth.

GAME 8
Cal State Northridge 10, (RV) Michigan State 5 (8 inn.)

W:Kia Fennell (5-4)
L: Jessica Beech (7-4)

GAME NOTES:
Cal State Northridge scored five times in the top of the eighth and Kia Fennell allowed only an unearned run on three hits in four innings of relief to lift the Matadors to the win... Sondra Milchiker had the go-ahead RBI in the eighth, singling to left and scoring Jen Dishner... Fennell added a two-run single and Jan Moshier added a two-run double in the final inning... Milchiker, Fennell, and Moshier each finished with three hits and two-or-more RBI in the game... Natalie Furrow, Nicole Mercado, and Angel Merren each had two hits for the Spartans.

GAME 9
(#25) Oregon State 7, (RV) Cal State Fullerton 1

L: Candice Baker (2-9)

GAME NOTES:
Oregon State capitalized on five Cal State Fullerton errors and broke the game open with a four-run fifth inning as the Beavers cruised to a 7-1 win... A wild pitch led to the Beavers' first run in the third... OSU scored two more runs on a fielding error and a two-run single by Brianne McGowan in the fifth for the 5-0 advantage... The Titans answered back when Julie Watson singled, moved to third on a two-base error, and scored on a wild pitch in the sixth... However, OSU answered by scoring two more in the sixth on an error and a double by Ingrid Lochelt... Baker suffered the loss for the Titans despite allowing just one earned run and striking out eight in five innings... McElroy allowed one hit through four innings for the win... Watson had both of the Titans' hits on the night... The first seven batters in Oregon State's lineup each had a hit... Mia Longfellow (OSU) scored three times.
