Former Titan Topping Named to Olympic Roster Sept. 8, 2003 Fullerton, Calif.
Former Cal State Fullerton All-America catcher Jenny Topping was one of
18 players named to the 2004 Olympic Team roster it was announced on Monday
morning.
The final roster was whittled down from a 46-player list which participated
in the 2003 USA Softball Olympic Trials last week in Chula Vista, Calif.
Since the official Olympic roster consists of only 15 players, three of
the 18 players will be named as alternates on Jan. 5. The final 15 will
then be nominated to the United States Olympic Committee as the team to
represent the U.S. at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games.

This past summer, Topping was a member of the 2003 National Team which
won the gold medal at the Pan Am Games in the Dominican Republic.
