Titans Host Canada in Final 2004 Tune-up Feb. 9, 2004 Fullerton, Calif.
NOW BATTING: The Cal State Fullerton Softball team kicks off the
2004 season this Monday night, hosting a two-game exhibition against the
Canadian National Team at the Titan Softball Complex. The doubleheader
will begin at 5 p.m. with the second game to follow approximately 20 minutes
after the completion of the first.
ON DECK...: The Titans kick off the 2004 regular season on Feb.
13-15 as one of 18 teams at the Arizona State Fiesta Bowl Classic at the
Rose Mofford Sports Complex in Phoenix, Ariz.
TICKET INFORMATION: Individual game tickets are available during
the regular season for $7 (adults) and $4 (youth/seniors). Cal State Fullerton
students, with vaild university ID, are free. For group rates (pre-sale
only), season tickets, or more information on tickets for the Worth and

ON THE AIR: Mondays doubleheader will not be broadcast.

preseason NFCA Coaches Poll and No. 16 in the first ESPN.com/USA Softball
coaches poll of the year.
SCOUTING THE CANADIAN NATIONAL TEAM: The Senior Womens National
Team qualified for the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece, by
winning the Americas Region Olympic Qualifier in Puerto Rico, and captured
the silver medal behind the United States at the 2003 Pan American Games
in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Canada begins a week-long tour against
California schools beginning with Mondays doubleheader against the
Titans. Schools they will be competing against during their seven-day
tour include: Long Beach State, San Diego, and Cal State Northridge.
