CAL STATE FULLERTON
2002 (JUNIOR):
Earned her second first-team All-America honor in a Titan uniform after hitting a school record .472 with 14 doubles, nine home runs and 33 RBI • was also named Big West Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, was named first-team All-West Region, All-Big West First Team and All-Regional Team • also led the team in walks with 33 • slugged .761 with a .575 on base percentage • scored 37 runs on the year • missed 13 games due to a shoulder injury • ranked fourth in the nation in batting average, ninth in slugging percentage and tied for 13th in walks per game (0.66).

2001 (SOPHOMORE): Topping led the team in every major offensive category en route to becoming the 23rd Titan to earn All-America honors and added All-West Region honors to her mantle in 2001 • also named the Big West Player of the Year in her first season in a Titan uniform and made the All-Big West First Team • became only the second player in Big West Conference history to win the "Triple Crown" (Kim Rondina, UNLV, 1995) and the fourth player (fifth time overall) in school history, joining All-Americans Stephenie Little, Senetha Thomas, and Sue Lewis • finished the year by hitting .423 with 14 home runs and 59 RBI • earned Big West Player of the Week honors four times (2/19, 3/5, 3/19, 4/9), tying the conference record for winning that award in a single season • scored 55 runs on the season and walked 56 times while slugging .821 and amassing an on-base percentage of .569 • tallied 19 games with two-or-more hits and 19 games with at least two RBI (including six games with three RBI) • had home runs in back-to-back games three times, including three straight games with a homer in the series against UCSB • owns five school single-season records in average, runs, doubles, RBI, and walks while third in home runs and 11th in hits.

UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON
2000 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN):
Topping enjoyed a stellar redshirt freshman year with the Huskies under head coach Teresa Wilson • she was named a First-Team All-American in 2000 and also added First-Team All-Region and Pac-10 Newcomer of the Year awards to her mantle • led the nation in home runs (24), RBIs (90), and slugging (.960), while ranking fifth in batting average (.438), fourth in walks per game (0.84), and 24th in doubles per game (0.30) in 2000.

1999 (FRESHMAN): played in only eight games in 1999 before tearing an ACL • hit .533 in her first six games and finished the year with a .375 average • tallied three home runs, 11 RBI, and walked seven times • played first base, catcher, and designated player.

NATIONAL TEAM INFORMATION
Named as one of 51 players to compete for spots on the 2001 US National Women's Softball Teams • earned a spot on the 2001 USA Blue National Team which competed in three international tournaments: the USA Softball Shootout, the Canada Cup and the Pan-Am Qualifier • hit .371 with three home runs, 16 walks, 19 runs scored and 19 RBI in those tournaments • was named as one of the 22 players to the 2002 National Training Team, but did not compete after suffering an injury in training camp.

LA HABRA HIGH SCHOOL
Played four varsity seasons as a catcher for head coach Sue Briquelet • also played basketball for one season • named to the 1998 USA Softball Level III squad and helped the team win a gold medal at the 1998 Women's National Team Festival in Fort Worth, Tex. • led La Habra to four consecutive Freeway League titles, earning all-league honors in each of those years • named to the Whittier Daily News' all-area team and was the paper's Athlete of the Year as a senior • named the Female Athlete of the Year by the La Habra Star in 1996.

PERSONAL
Born May 30, 1980, in Whittier • her parents are Richard and Marianne • has two older sisters, Edie and Eve • full name is Jenny Louise Topping • majoring in sociology at Cal State Fullerton • she enjoys reading, painting, cars, and water sports in her spare time • her nickname is "J.T." • chose Cal State Fullerton because of the caliber of the program, the coaching staff, and the university.
