2003 Softball
CAL STATE FULLERTON 2002 (JUNIOR): Saw time in 59 of the Titans’ 66 games on the year making 56 starts • hit a career-best .272 with two home runs and 25 RBI to go along with 24 runs scored • hit well in Big West Conference play with a .316 average in 19 games played • saw time as the Titans’ designated player and at third base • was 3-for-3 with a pair of runs and two RBI – including her first career home run – in a victory over Massachusetts (2/22)• was also 3-for-4 with three RBI in a victory at Utah State (3/30) • also had three-hit games at UC Santa Barbara (5/4) and at Cal Poly (5/10) – both Titan victories. 2001 (SOPHOMORE): Did a tremendous job behind the plate on defense this season as the back-up to Jenny Topping, but hit only .180 with three doubles and three RBI in 89 at bats • appeared in 54 of the Titans' 62 games, starting 41 of them • scored 20 runs and walked 12 times • made only two errors in 156 chances (.987). 2000 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 38 games for the Titans, starting 18 • hit .156 in 45 at-bats • scored 12 runs to go with one double and three RBI • had two steals in three attempts for CSF. A.B. MILLER HS Was an All-Inland Empire first-team selection in 1999 in both softball and volleyball • earned a total of seven varsity letters, four of them in softball • graduated with honors with a 3.68 GPA • competed for and with former Titan great Sue Lewis as a member of the Southern California Wahoos • also competed for Pam Newton on the Flash D' Gold team • was a second-team All-American selection at the women's major nationals in 1999.
