CAL STATE FULLERTON 2002 (JUNIOR): Earned second-team All-Big West honors after hitting .250 with eight home runs and 33 RBI was the only Titan player to start all 66 games scored 30 runs on the year and set a school single-season and career record by being hit by a pitch 20 times also walked 18 times and amassed an on-base percentage of .429. 2001 (SOPHOMORE): Hockett was the steady glove at shortstop for the Titans, hitting .280 to go with six home runs and 31 RBI offensively while earning All-Big West Second Team honors named to the All-Regional team in Tucson after hitting a team-best .556 (5-for-9) with four runs scored, a home run, and two RBI to go along with a .889 slugging percentage scored 27 times and stole 6-of-7 bases on the year appeared in 61 of Fullerton's 62 games, starting 60 of them kicked off the season with a bang, going 3-for-4 with two runs and three RBI against Colorado State (2/2) and duplicating the effort with a 3-for-3 day with two runs and four RBI against New Mexico (2/3) a day later had a stolen base in four of her first six games had seven games of two-or-more hits (including a 3-for-4 effort with a home run and two RBI against pitcher Jennie Finch and National Champion Arizona in regional play) and seven games with two-or-more RBI. 2000 (FRESHMAN): Hockett appeared in 59 games for CSF, starting 58 hit .259 on the year to go with seven home runs (second on the team) and 25 RBI en route to All-Big West Honorable Mention honors slugged .504 (third on the team) while smacking nine doubles, two triples, and scoring 32 runs walked 17 times (third on the team) and was hit by pitch a team-high 13 times was perfect on the base paths with a team-best five steals in five attempts. STOCKDALE HS While competing for Stockdale HS in the Bakersfield area, she was the 1999 Player of the Year in Central California named all-league for four years as an infielder and was a three-time MVP played four years on the varsity squad in both softball and basketball and competed for three seasons in volleyball was named Kern County's Female Athlete of the Year in 1999 and was a two-time athlete-of-the-month selection batted .494 with three home runs, five triples and 30 RBI hit .444 in her junior year played ASA for coach Gary Fausett and the Valencia Choppers and has competed at three national tournaments.
