The No. 10 Cal State Fullerton softball team closed out the final day
of play at the ASU Fiesta Bowl Classic with a pair of losses to No. 4
Nebraska and Iowa State on Sunday morning in Phoenix, Ariz.
Cal State Fullerton fell to 6-3 overall on the season and finished the
tournament with a 4-2 record.
In game one, Nebraska's Peaches James tossed a three-hit shutout and struckout
six TItans en route to a 2-0 victory.
Seniors Jenny Topping, Jodie Cox and Gina Oaks each had hits for the Titans.
In the second game of the day, Iowa State shutout Cal State Fullerton,
1-0.
