2002 Softball
2001 (Sophomore): Oaks compiled a 19-7 overall record with a 1.71 ERA in her second season with the Titans • earned First-Team All-Big West honors as the utility player (Oaks also played second and third base) and also made the All-West Region First Team at the position • earned Big West Pitcher of the Week honors three times • won her last five starts of the regular season, posting a 0.68 ERA in 31 innings while striking out 40 batters • led the team for the second straight season by striking out 178 batters in 156.0 innings while walking only 40 • her 178 strikeouts rank 10th on the all-time single-season lists • threw 16 complete games and six shutouts • held the opposition to a .208 batting average • ranks eighth all time in career strikeouts (316) and is tied for fourth on the career saves list (4) • hit .287 with five home runs and 38 RBI • hit two grand slams in a single game against Kansas (2/2) • had a season-best six-game hitting streak during which she hit .421 (8-for-19) with two doubles, a home run, and nine RBI • scored 28 times and knocked 10 doubles • walked 20 times and was second on the team with seven hit by pitches • led the team with 18 sacrifice hits, which is tied for 10th on the school's single-season list. 2000 (Freshman): Oaks posted a 14-4 record in the circle with a 1.52 ERA • earned second-team All-Big West honors • appeared in 26 games (16 starts), throwing five shutouts and saving two games • allowed 36 runs (28 earned) while walking 24 batters • allowed 94 hits in 128.2 innings • opponents hit .197 against her while striking out 138 times • Oaks hit .313 on the year to go with eight doubles, four home runs, and 18 RBI • scored 26 runs and slugged .463 • walked 13 times and had eight sacrifices.
