2002 Softball
2001 (Sophomore): Had a breakout year, appearing in 45 games (24 starts) and hitting .323 on the season to earn All-Big West Second Team honors scored 18 times to go with a triple and seven RBI a base runner with tremendous speed, Halagarda was a perfect 8-for-8 on the basepaths got her first career base hit against Colorado State in the season opener and had a career-high three hits at Sacramento State (3/24) notched her first career RBI against Centenary (2/15) and had her first career extra base hit against Washington (3/17) in a 2-for-3 night with a career-best three RBI had a career-best seven-game hitting streak during which she hit .455 with four runs scored. 2000 (Freshman): Appeared in 30 games for the Titans, starting three had only nine at-bats on the season but scored six runs on the year and walked once. MISSION VIEJO HS: Prepped at Mission Viejo HS and participated for four years in softball earned honorable mention all-league status in 1996 and 1999 was a scholar/athlete in 1996 and 1999 Competed for the Southern California Belles in ASA. PERSONAL: Born on September 25, 1980, in Mission Viejo parents are Bev and Walt has a younger brother, David is a computer science major who selected Cal State Fullerton over Utah State, Penn and Northwestern selects country and modern music as her favorites lists Los Angeles Dodger first baseman Eric Karros as her favorite sports personality because of his leadership qualities.
