2002 Softball
2001 (Sophomore): Had a breakout year, appearing in 45 games (24 starts) and hitting .323 on the season to earn All-Big West Second Team honors • scored 18 times to go with a triple and seven RBI • a base runner with tremendous speed, Halagarda was a perfect 8-for-8 on the basepaths • got her first career base hit against Colorado State in the season opener and had a career-high three hits at Sacramento State (3/24) • notched her first career RBI against Centenary (2/15) and had her first career extra base hit against Washington (3/17) in a 2-for-3 night with a career-best three RBI • had a career-best seven-game hitting streak during which she hit .455 with four runs scored. 2000 (Freshman): Appeared in 30 games for the Titans, starting three • had only nine at-bats on the season but scored six runs on the year and walked once. MISSION VIEJO HS: Prepped at Mission Viejo HS and participated for four years in softball • earned honorable mention all-league status in 1996 and 1999 • was a scholar/athlete in 1996 and 1999 • Competed for the Southern California Belles in ASA.
