Box Score Senior pitcher Christy Robitaille tossed her first career no-hitter in a Titan uniform as No. 9 Cal State Fullerton rolled to a 13-0 victory over UC Riverside on senior day at the Titan Softball Complex in front of 523 fans. The Titans improved to 43-11 overall on the season and 16-2 in the Big West Conference. UC Riverside fell to 11-41, 1-17. It was a fitting send off for Cal State Fullertons four softball seniors as they hit a combined .400 at the plate with five runs scored, six RBI, a double and a home run. All that on top of Robitailles (11-4) no-hitter, as the senior struck out eight batters, walked two and faced just one batter over the minimum. Fullerton struck early and often, scoring four times in the first inning on a two-run home run by Jodie Cox, a wild pitch and an RBI fielders choice by Shawna Robinson. The Titans tacked on eight runs in the third on a pair of three-run blasts by Yasmin Mossadeghi and Gina Oaks and back-to-back RBI singles from Monica Lucatero and Mossadeghi as Cal State Fullerton sent 13 batters to the plate in the frame. The floodgates continued in the fourth as the Titans completed the scoring with a run on a bases-loaded walk to Caylin Hornish for the 13-0 lead. Jenny Topping was 3-for-3 at the plate with two runs scored, Lucatero was 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI, while Mossadeghi was 2-for-3 with a run scored and four RBI.
