Coaching Staff Voted Best in Region July 9, 2002 – Columbia, MO The Cal State Fullerton softball coaching staff has been selected best in the West Region in 2002 in voting conducted by the coaching members of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Head Coach Michelle Gromacki, full-time assistants Terry Schweikert and Erika Blanco and volunteeer assistant Susie Parra directed the Titans to an overall 53-13 record including a 22-2 mark for the Big West Conference championship. The Titans were runnersup in the NCAA Regional Tournament at Fresno State to California, the eventual national champion. Golden Bears' Coach Diane Ninemire and her stafff won the Pacific region and the national staff of the year award. ####
