FULLERTON: True freshman in 2003 who saw considerable action... Played in all but one match and started 8 times... Took 14 shots, 9 on goal, but was scoreless... Expected to be a major contributor in 2004. HIGH SCHOOL: A knee injury kept him out of his league season and CIF playoffs as a senior at Quartz Hill High School in Quartz Hill... Three-year varsity letterman for Coach Tony Bruce... Team captain all three years... Team won the CIF championship in 2002... Won recognition and honors for the Golden State exams six times. PERSONAL: Born on Jan. 21, 1985, in Los Angeles... Parents are Richard and Lori Sheldrick... Has two sisters, Stephanie and Christal... Played club soccer for Antelope Valley Heat (1996-99) and Cal Arsenal (2000-03)... Participated in the Olympic Development Program at the regional, district and state levels... Graphic design major who hopes to become a graphic artist or animator... Chose Fullerton because of its great location and it offered a major in which he was interested... Most memorable sports thrill was playing in a CIF championship match... Credits former Titan player Noah Kooiman for most influencing his career: "He taught me the true meaning of hard work and dedication."
