FULLERTON: One of the most experienced players on the roster... Had 36 Titan matches under his belt prior to this season including 19 in a starting role.. In 2002 he was fourth on the team in scoring with 7 points on 3 goals and 1 assist... His goals came at Fresno State on Sept. 26, vs. Cal Poly on Nov. 9 and at Cal State Northridge on Nov. 16.

COLLEGE: Attended Brunel University in Uxbridge, Middlesex, England, for one year... Was a member of the soccer club... That University has more than 12,000 students.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended the American School in London, England, and played soccer for Coach Martin Hackett... Graduated in 2000... Four-year varsity letterman in soccer and also competed in volleyball, track and field and rugby... Scored 28 goals in 23 matches to lead team in scoring... Was selected MVP of the soccer team and twice won all-tournament (ISST and ISSA) berths.

PERSONAL: Born on Nov. 1, 1982, in Leeds, England... Parents are Andrew (Pasadena) and Adelaide (London) Sam... Has a younger brother, Lloyd... Business management major who hopes to play soccer professionally or get involved in the business side of the sport... Enjoys music, meeting people and traveling... Most memorable sports thrill was scoring five goals in one match vs. American International School of Vienna in the 1999 ISST Tournament... Credits his grammar school soccer coach for helping to build his soccer confidence.
