HIGH SCHOOL: Gained valuable experience as a heralded four-year letterman at Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma for Coach Joe Waters while also playing an extensive club schedule... Last year was captain and first-team all-area selection for the state championship and nationally No. 1-ranked team... Won numerous most valuable players awards including team defender in 2002 and the Rainier Challenge and Tournament of Champions in 2001... Three-time all-league selection... National Honor Society member for three years.

PERSONAL: Born on Oct. 23, 1985, in Kirkland, Washington... Parents are John and Cheryl Gallinger of Edgewood, Washington... Has two older brothers -- Eric, 23, and teammate Sean, 21... Business administration major who hopes to own his own business... Enjoys basketball and golf... Most memorable sports thrill was scoring on a penalty kick in the state semifinals... Worked part-time in the Wembley Soccer Shop... Credits Coaches Neil Megson and James Charette for incorporating the European style of training and play into his game... Played seven years for FC United and one year for FC Parma.
