FULLERTON: Sat out the 2003 season as a redshirt. HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterman at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana ... Team MVP as a senior for Coach Martin Springer... Earned first-team All-CIF, All-Orange County and All-Serra League honors as a senior... Played in the Orange County All-Star Match... Was first-team all-league and third-team All-CIF as a junior... MVP of the Marina Tournament... His sophomore team won the CIF championship... Played two years of baseball for the Monarchs. PERSONAL: Born on Dec. 2, 1984, in Long Beach, California... Parents are Terry and Christine Dedeaux... Has an older sister, Galyn (20), and two younger brothers, Adam (17) and Patrick (13)... His grandfather is legendary baseball coach Rod Dedeaux, who won 11 national championships at USC and was voted coach of the century by Baseball America... Anthony won a scholarship from the North Huntington Beach Futbol Club, for whom he played for eight years... His under-11 team won the state cup... He credits NHB Coach Ed Montoya for teaching him "not only the game of soccer, but the importance of dedication, hard work and effort in everything I do"... Business administration major... Chose Cal State Fullerton because of its strong soccer program and its proximity to the beach.
