Sow Signs Contract with Toronto Nov. 2– Toronto, Canada
Former Titan center Pape Sow was signed Monday by the Toronto Raptors
and will start the NBA season on the injured reserve list. The native
of Dakar, Senegal, played the past three seasons at Cal State Fullerton
after one year at Chaffey College in Alta Loma.
Sow was the 47th selection (second round) in the 2004 draft by the Miami
Heat, who traded his rights the same day to Toronto.
If he gets into a game later this season, he will join former Titans Bruce
Bowen, Cedric Ceballos, Leon Wood, Richard Morton, Henry Turner, Ozell
Jones, Kevin Henderson, Mike Niles and Greg Bunch as CSF alumni in the
NBA.
