Titans Shut Out at Hawaiian Airlines Tip-Off Nov. 24, 2002 Honolulu, Hawaii
Jibrahn Ike scored a game-high 19 points as Arkansas-Little Rock beat
Cal State Fullerton, 56-43, at the Hawaiian Airlines Tip-Off Tournament
in Honolulu Sunday night.
The Titans (0-2) were led by Pape Sow and Ralphy Holmes, who each scored
10 points. The cold-shooting Titans were never really
in the game. Fullerton managed to shoot just 29 percent from the floor
in the first half en route to a 27-16 halftime deficit. They were only
slightly better in the second half, hitting on 33 percent of their attempts.
Fullerton was also outrebounded, 30-26, though the Titans did commit fewer
turnovers (13 to the Trojans' 20).
Fullerton returns to action on Saturday at home against Occidental in
a game that will count only as an exhibition.
