HOPE UNIVERSITY: Two-year letterman at Hope, a small college located adjacent to Cal State Fullerton and one that plays its home games in Titan Gym... Averaged a double-double in points and rebounds both seasons at power forward.

ETECAP HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity letterman as a center at Etecap High in Sao Paulo for Coach Mario Cecconi... Played for the Brazilian All-Stars team in the Junior Olympics for two seasons... As a freshman was the team's most improved player... Graduated with honors with an emphasis in chemistry.

PERSONAL: Born on Apr. 3, 1978, in Sao Paulo, Brazil... Parents are Jose and Terezinha Moreno of Sao Paulo... Has a younger sister, Carolina, and a younger brother, Leonardo... Kinesiology and Health Promotion major whose ambition is to be a basketball coach... Enjoys reggae music... Is related to Brazilian volleyball star Antonio Carlos Moreno... speaks four languages -- English, Spanish, Portugese and Italian.
