Men's Basketball Coaches
Jason Levy brings a wealth and breadth of basketball experience to Donny Daniels Titan coaching staff. The 33-year-old native of New York City has worked on the West Coast, in the Midwest and on the East Coast in a variety of coaching positions. Last summer he represented adidas at a clinic in Beijing, China. Levy helps coordinate the recruiting efforts for the Titans, as well as work with on-the-court development, conditioning, scouting and planning. For his efforts, he recently was recognized by Rivals100Hoops.com with a selection to the Top 20 of "Top Assistants Not at a High-Major Program." He was one of only two selected from west of the Rockies. Prior to coming to Fullerton, Levy spent three seasons as an assistant at the University of Portland of the West Coast Conference. He has three years of experience in the Big West Conference with two seasons (1994-95 and 1995-96) at Long Beach State under Seth Greenberg and one (1996-97) at UC Irvine under Rod Baker. The 49ers went to the NCAA Tournament in 1994. At Portland, Levy coordinated recruiting efforts for the Pilots while assisting in practice and game preparation. On the floor he worked primarily with post players and he also assisted with the strength and conditioning program. Levy played high school ball for La Salle Academy in Manhattan before venturing west and playing two seasons at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo. He transferred to Cal State Northridge, where he graduated in 1993. He served one season (1993-94) as an assistant to Rudy Washington at Drake in Des Moines, Iowa, before moving to Long Beach State. He began his coaching career at the Double Pump Camp at Cal State Dominguez Hills in 1992-93.
