TITANS ’00: Appeared in 11 games and started in four for the Titans • Singled in his first Division I at-bat against Baylor on Feb. 12 • Hit a solo home run against San Diego State on May 2 • Was 1-for-4 with a season-high two RBI against Cal State Northridge on May 9. CERRITOS COLLEGE (JC): Two-time All-South Coast Conference selection for the Falcons and Coach Ken Gaylord, who won a pair of conference championships during his career • As a sophomore, batted .339 with 12 doubles, seven triples and six home runs to go with 14 stolen bases, 43 runs and 43 RBI • Earned first-team All-South Coast Conference and All-Southern California honors • As a freshman, batted .319 with seven doubles, three triples, four home runs, 13 stolen bases and 27 RBI • Selected to second-team all-conference and won team’s Most Improved Award • Also played on the Falcons’ football team.
