TITANS 00: One of the Titans most reliable players, Norris started 54 games at third base (only David Bacani and Chris Stringfellow started in more) Offensively, was nearly a carbon copy of his freshman campaign From April 1 on, his average never climbed above .317, but never plummeted below .286 Developed a knack for delivering big hits early in the season Hit a game-tying two-out home run in the top of the ninth inning in the season opener at No. 1 Stanford A week later, he singled with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to send the Titans to a 1-0 win over Baylor After playing shortstop and second base his freshman season, made the switch to third base and displayed phenomenal glove work at times Started in six different spots in the batting order (2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8) Had a nine-game hitting streak late in the season, during which he batted .452 (14-for-31) with seven RBI Went 7-for-11 with four doubles and four RBI in a three-game set against Baylor (Feb. 11-13) Batted .380 (27-for-71) against teams that made the NCAA tournament.
